Patience is a virtue, right?

December 7, 2012

In the last few months, I’ve struggled with being patient and as the Holiday season starts underway, I thought I’d share a few great quotes on patience as I’m sure we’ll all need an extra dose in the upcoming weeks:

  • Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world ~ Harriet Tubman
  • Patience, persistence and perspiration make an unbeatable combination for success ~ Napolean Hill
  • For anything worth having one must pay the price; and the price is always work, patience, love, self-sacrifice – no paper currency, no promises to pay, but the gold of real service ~ John Burroughs
  • Patience is the companion of wisdom ~ Saint Augustine
  • Have patience with all things, But, first of all with yourself ~ Saint Francis de Sales

So if you find yourself a bit short with your fellow man, take a moment and remember the many virtues that will come about with just a little patience.

Have a wonderful Holiday Season from everyone at Status Not Quo!
